Urban Decay Alice Through The Looking Glass Collection Review

When your favorite makeup brand collaborates with Disney the results are truly magical! Wonderland is a world of daydreams, fantasy and eccentric characters that compliment UD's bold, whimsical pigments. Alice Through the Looking Glass hits theaters on May 27th and beauty junkies everywhere can unleash their creativity with extraordinary color.

Before I start swooning over the vibrant eye shadows and distinctive lipsticks, let’s take a minute to appreciate the packaging! This trippy pop-up palette features colorful kaleidoscopic artwork woven out of psychedelic flowers and beautiful butterflies. It also includes several fun quotes from the film.

Open the colorful doors to reveal a stunning three-dimensional butterfly!

UD successfully evoked Alice’s strange, mysterious world creating a beautiful palette that looks like artwork on your vanity. The shadows are housed in a pull-out drawer and each vertical row represents a different character with their own color inspiration.

The pigments are velvety, rich and dramatic for effortless blending and fantastic longevity. You can mix, match and blend to create endless combinations with no creasing or fading. For glamorous looks, the sparkle finishes range from glitter to metallic while the deep hues create smokey contrast and definition. Although many of these shades are quite dramatic, the neutrals help balance the brightness.

In true UD style, the pigmentation is fabulous and the texture is smooth and creamy. The only sheer color is Dream On which has a glittery overlay that layers well with other shadows. This palette definitely lives up to the hype and retails for $75.00.

Since Alice in Wonderland is all about transforming (not conforming) and embracing the things that make us different, the collection also features 5 edgy lipsticks that make your pout standout. The shades range from nude and classic red to metallic purple, dazzling gunmetal blue and deep shimming berry. The trendy tubes are designed with the same colorful kaleidoscope artwork and embossed with the UD stamp.

The sparkly particles add a pretty glimmer effect yet the creamy texture is smooth and comfortable. The finishes range from sheer to medium and full-coverage with buildable color and adequate moisture.

The lipsticks retail for $21.00 each

If you are you on the hunt for exciting color this limited edition collection is available at and Sephora.
