Today I have a review on a new cream I have been trying called Steam Cream. Usually when I purchase creams I buy separate products for body, face and hands but this cream can be used to moisturize your entire body!
If you take a look at the website the creams come in many unique patterns and designs. You can even choose from seasonal tins and zodiac inspired artwork which allows you to personalize them for gifts. The decorative tins would look pretty on a vanity or dresser and can be used as a storage container after the cream has been used. I received the original tin which although isn't as fancy still contains the same great ingredients within. This simple design may also be more preferable for men.
If you are wondering why this cream is called Steam Cream it is because it is “handmade with natural ingredients and then fused together by a shot of steam.” This method of production is supposed to make the cream lightweight to provide excellent hydration for the face and body. Steam Cream is made in the UK and Japan and it is suppose to revive the skin by absorbing instantly. It is suitable for all skin types.
The cream is very smooth and smells strongly of lavender. It contains: oatmeal, orange flower water, almond oil, cocoa butter, jojoba, lavender oil, rose, neroli oil and more!
I primarily like to use the cream to relieve my dry hands. It has a nice moisturizing formula that is quite long lasting and even with repeated hand washing my hands don’t seem to get as dry. After application I can feel the cream on my hands for a while but it makes my skin feel soft and hydrated right way; I can definitely see and feel the difference. Since I always have hand cream readily available this product works well and comes in handy.
The sample size I have is 25 ml so I like to keep this cream in my purse for use throughout the day. Although it can be used on the face I have not used it as a face cream.
The cream retails for $20 for a 75 ml tin and you can find it on the website HERE
